Bigger print length?

Post by tom10122 »

Recently got a 10"by 7" sheet of glass for my printer and was thinking, If I moved the bearing assemblies and belt clamps closer together then I would be able to print bigger area correct? Any drawbacks? I was thinking that the just couldn't be too close or else they would wiggle.

If you're worried about getting the bearings too close, extend the rods outside the front or back and put an additional set of bearings out there, and make the table longer.
