I recently uploaded an image (.jpg) to a site called "Photobucket.com". Now I'm
trying to figure out how to insert the image to a post on the forum through this
site. Very new to this so if someone could give me a Step #1, Step #2, etc. I
would be eternally grateful.
Thanks, Norm77
Need URL instructions...
Re: Need URL instructions...
Photobucket is a bad choice for hosting images, especially if they get decent traffic.
Use imgur.com. It's about as simple as can be, and you don't even need to create an account. (and it can handle traffic from reddit all day, so it's about as bulletproof as a free image host can be)
1) Go to imgur.com
2) Click the "computer" button near the top right
3) Once it uploads, it'll take you to a page that displays the image. On the right side, there will be some addresses displayed.
4) To post it here, copy/paste from the text box labeled "BBCode" (it'll have IMG tags in square brackets) into the editor window over here.
5) There is no Step 5.
