The Maker Chair project

Just passing along a really cool project. I'm so intrigued by objects like this that are small parts that create something larger. :) Anyone working on something similar?

Reminds me of Voltron.

I think that is one cool looking chair and to think that it can be made from printed parts!

Well my mechanical engineer friend is getting more serious about making a low detail printer on his plasma table. He wants to print parts for an electric motorcycle. So this chair could be printed fast in much fewer parts. Sounds like we will be pursuing that soon. He keeps bugging me about it... ;)

Man, this stuff is just too much fun!
