Has any one out there got a good, reliable set of parameters for the Rostok Max for these voronoi structures?
All I get is blobs and strings, In ABS.

Re: voronoi structures
They are pretty hard to print cleanly, though in ABS it's a bit easier.bigalstew wrote:Has any one out there got a good, reliable set of parameters for the Rostok Max for these voronoi structures?

I use an E3D hotend, so my setting wouldn't be much use, but the basic approach is to print as cold as you reliably can, and get your retraction dialed in.
KissSlicers wipe can also help a lot. Basically it's all about getting retraction and print temperatures dialed in, which is way easier to say than it is to do.
The other thing to watch for is some of the thingiverse voronoi objects don't have usable bases, and some of them have little enough structure that scaling them down makes them unprintable (The Klein Bottle has this issue)

If you were using PLA, I'd tell you to get a part cooling fan. Those will give you CLEAN prints with PLA, even stuff that's narrow and unsupported from any side. I don't think you're supposed to use those with ABS, though.
Whatever material you use, there are a bunch of retraction calibration prints you can get from Thingiverse. Go through one or two of those before you commit hours to a print that might come out looking bad.
