Hello,
I didn't know this until I tried. Okay, look out, the holes on the cheap skates are not even spaced. I know Rostock, and the assembly manual want you have the eyes looking one direction. But, after you've mounted the Universal Joints, you won't want to disassemble it to just have eyes looking in the right direction. If you go to put the cheap skates together, and you're screws wind up all cock eyed, it's because, you've mounted the roller bearings, on a mirror image, and the reverse face. So, if you just reverse the eyes, when everything seems to be out of whack, and which way they look, then, you can make all of the adjustments. But, the stuff is so well measured out, it should just slide together with very little force, and reversing the adjustable bearings, does look to give you more room for adjustment vs facing them the direction they want. So, it's easier to adjust, if you look the other way.
The cheap skates.
