This is what a motor mount looks like for a 2550 kossel

Post by gestalt73 »

The design is complete, but I may have to make a few changes after my misumi 2550 samples arrive.

100mm high, 0.25mm layers, 3 perimeters, 25% infill, 10mm brim

Very low curling on the ends, and a hint of a single split on one side. Overall a very successful large print.

My working theory is that by using the larger extrusions, the kossel design should scale to rostock max proportions.

The test fitting with my misumi 2550 samples went really well.

Just a light sanding of mating surfaces to even them out a bit, and a gentle application of force and the vertical went in well.
