I'm at the part of the build where it asks me to hit the extrude button and that it should rotate counter clockwise. It moves back and fourth a couple mms in both directions instead. I have unassembled and reassembled it. Not sure what the problem is here.
Last one for the day, I swear.. and thank you for your help.
EDIT: Solved this by taking the front panel off and checking the wiring for the extruder motor. The crimps were not pushed all the way into the 4 pin connector.

I had the exact same problem and for me my stepper must have been wired wrong internally since I swapped two of the wire pairs around and it worked fine.
So if the pins are good, might be worth checking that - anyone else who has this same issue.
