Delta Orion Manual Page 30 -- Horizontal radius
Alright folks, my machine has been working for over 80 hours now and its finally starting to give me problems with the bed heights. I did the Towers code and it looks like I have to change the Horizontal Radius as seen on page 30 -- Load my host software and bring up the EEPROM info. Is that in Repetier Host? Can someone point me to the right information, since I can;t seem to find anything but "change your EEPROM settings" Must be pretty simple, but I'm missing it.

yes, you make the change through Repetier host, Config Tab, "Firmware EEPROM Configurations"

Re: Delta Orion Manual Page 30 -- Horizontal radius
I changed the setting to add .4 to the horizontal radius, and I am still getting some drag through the center of my model. It happens after the first layer, going from the end of the first layer, back to the start of the 2nd layer.
When I change the setting in repetier host, does it automatically change the EEPROM, or do I have to export it somehow to the machine?
Has anyone had to add more than .4 to the horizontal radius? I'm not sure how many times I need to do this. I'm used to digital sensors when leveling machines, so I'm guessing I will need to make one of those digital micrometer holders to replace the hotend.

Yes it does save it to the eeprom.
as for the radius setting,,,,, I don't know about the orion, but in the Max manual, page 221, they say you have to decrease the horizontal radius value to raise the nozzle.

When's the last time you've checked your belts tension?

250 hours ago when I unboxed it. They seem to be tight.

I really need to get a shim kit and change the TOWERS calibration to 20 seconds dwell, so I can really check to see what each stop is at. I'm too old to have calibrated eyeballs anymore.
