When i hit Home Towers the towers go down!
i was trying to set a new z height. now i cant get the towers to go up. if they go down they slam into the bed.

It sounds like you accidentally set the Z zero point to the top of the machine.
Reset the z-zero point without homing the machine - just run it down a few inches off the end stops, set the z zero, home it and then set the proper z zero point at the bed as shown in the manual.

Re: When i hit Home Towers the towers go down!
I moved it a few inches down from the end stops and I hit the set new Z=0.00 key, I hit the home button and it sends all the towers down again. I believe your right as all of these problems started when i originally hit the set Z=0.00 key. So i'm stuck with the same results atm, what should i try next?

Has it done this since you finished building? If so, might you have the cables wrong? Check the servo wire colors carefully...Mogarbobac wrote:i was trying to set a new z height. now i cant get the towers to go up. if they go down they slam into the bed.

No it worked fine before, I fixed it but I had to clear and reset up the EEPROM. That's the only way I found I could solve the problem
