It's probably been done already, but I haven't seen one so I thought I would share my version of an inexpensive way to keep heat in the build volume. I used a thick and clear PEVA shower curtain cut to 59" x 34" and then used 2" industrial velcro to secure it to the top of the machine. I overlapped it in the front and made a small velcro closure to keep it shut.
Seems to be working well, it stays around 100F in there with room temp at 70F and the bed set to 90C. Should help some with cracks and shrinkage of ABS, time will tell. Total cost was less than $15.00.

Re: Inexpensive Heated Chamber
This is a very clever design! Have you enjoyed the sound of your cheapskates crinkling the plasticky shower curtain, or do you have the curtain with a wide enough circumference that it doesn't drag?
If at first you don't succeed, you're doing something wrong. Try again, and if it fails again, try once more. Through trial and error, one can be the first to accomplish something great.
Re: Inexpensive Heated Chamber
I did make sure to leave it a touch loose for the cheapskates and runs completely silent. Everything is adjustable through the velcro so you can tighten/loosen as needed. I added some more velcro to the top outside so I can leave it in the open position, it's like drapes for the machine.. lol!

Very nice.
Missus just asked me if I needed anything at Bunnings (our local warehouse style hardware shop) and now I have answer: Yes. Shower curtain and velcro.

I wanted to buy a small temporary greenhouse, but the shower curtain seems to be a better idea.
I'll probably to it too, and tweak your design by using velcro and magnets.
Thank you for the idea !!

Drat
Need to make some kind of flare up for my v1 RMax to get the curtain out past the carriages.
Sob, what, I have to spend more time in the shed?
