Blown surface mount fuse

Post by bgovoni »

Hey Guys, recently purchased the rostock v2, upon completing everything worked well. I was able to calibrate it, print the fan shroud, then while attempting another calibration to get things just perfect. As soon as I turned on the extruder. I heard a pop and now nothing but fan noise. I can't communicate with it nor see it arduino for a reflash. This fuse fails a continuity test with a multimeter so I assume thats my problem.

Do you know the part number of this fuse and place that ships quickly? This is killing me being 98.9% done...

Also, any thoughts for the pop? I had a hell of a time crimping the end for the temp sensor on the hot end down by the rambo. I suspect I may have shorted down there since my crimps were too big to fit in the plastic. Everything else on the install was flawless.

You'll want to check the Hotend wiring before you replace the fuse.

Fuse numbers are here
