Putting an SD card in the LCD makes it wonky

Post by MiggedyMike »

Hi. Using the Rambo with the LCD display. Everything works fine when using Repetier from the computer using a USB port, but when I try to save the .gco on a SD card and use the lcd controller, things get wonky. The lcd comes on, acknowledges that there is an sd card in the slot and then it seems to restart over and over again. Tried to search the forum, but couldn't find anything. Can someone give me some possible causes to troubleshoot? Thanks in advance!

A dumb question but have you tried a different card? Not all sd cards are created equal.

Yes I have. I have tried a kingston micro SD with adaptor and the Sandisk that came with the Controller. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Have you tried reflashing the firmware on the Rambo?

Got it up and running, Took a q-tip, cut it in half and cleaned out the SD card bay with alcohol. Works fine now.
