I think your going to have to flip some wires around in thier connectors, I will have to look at things when I get home to see if there is some other way. Weird!! Setting the direction t/f should only change the motors rotation.
But your saying you have to change directions to get it to go down, then change it again to go home??

Interesting... That was exactly what was happening but now it seems to have corrected itself after I saved and reloaded the firmware... Axes are inverted as above, yet problem is no longer presenting itself? Oh well, I guess problem solved! :D Weird...
// Inverting axis direction
#define INVERT_X_DIR true
#define INVERT_Y_DIR false
#define INVERT_Z_DIR true
The above is how things are set currently. I guess it doesn't matter if it's working lol ^^

Anyway, I guess someone can close this issue now. The firmware may have been glitching because of the previous issue. I had a feeling it was all related... If I have the issue re-crop I'll mention it here. Well, after homing z-axis appears as 353.95, so all that should remain is to recalibrate the hotend and bed, and then calibrate the axes :)

Thanks again m8 :)

haha Yeah, I thought perhaps it wouldn't hurt to reupload again. I've uploaded the firmware so many times I've lost count. It's funny how simple the solution was yet so frustrating to solve. Human error on my part, all traced back to that damn crossed motor wire lol ^^

Indeed, good diagnosis doctor :D

Indeed lol :P And be especially careful when installing the peek fan as although I managed to do my first couple of prints (at 3% size increase due to the first being too small for the fan due to shrinkage), ever since then my printer keeps shutting down when the temperature reaches close to the start of the print. I can test the temp by itself and there will be no issue, but the moment I start a print it happens every time just before reaching required temperature. After installing the peek fan, the peek fan would stop &/or grind as it was in too tight (thus I loosened the fit), then short out when attempting to print. Anyway, I'll see about adding this to a new thread ^^
