cura printing with Max v2

Post by duvdev »

Hello,

Is there any profile or presets for printer?
If I calibrate it as in the manual will it work as it supposed in cura?

Thanks.

with cura, just run the first wizzard and set up the printer dimensions and tell it that its a rostock. take the cura G code and open it int repiter and then run or save it to sd card. The printer settings themselves are stored on the eprom. Hope this makes sense, Ive kicked back a few pints LoL

What I generally do is set the print speed to 50mm/sec (I print a tad bit faster) and the travel to 200, retract to 2-3 at 50mm/sec, and first layer speed I bump to 30. Also I change the advance settings (drop down menu) so there is 1mm of "z hop" (where it lifts the effector after a retract) and I change the min skirt loops to 3. Generally pretty good prints.
