Post by Holy1 »

Here are some pics of my build. It went together well with no problems except a faulty hobbed gear . see that post here http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=6373

I had a lot of fun building it learned quite a bit.

Some careful calibration and adding some PEI pays off. Check out the level of adhesion and how close I can get to the edge. This is ABS at 225 with the bed at 85.

Where did you get the PEI Plate? The only source I know is amazon mentioned here in another thread. But I´m waiting now for 2 month without getting it.

Can you post a source for the PEI Plates your using?

Thanx

Very nicely built machine and you attacked the power supply as well, got to be the way it's done. Wiring looks really neat too :)

No separation.I had an enclosure around it (except for a quick pic).

You can get PEI sheet off McMaster for ~$30. Found a nice 12x12 sheet that's 1/16" I think

You might be happier with a thinner piece. PEI seems to be a poor heat conductor, within reason I think thinner is better. Mine is 1/32 and if I do this again I may try a little thinner.
