Where can I get more crimp on spade lugs.

Post by MARSTECH »

I stripped the black and green wire you use for the on/of switch. I then put them in the crimp on spade lugs, but I messed up the crimp. Does anyone know if the kit includes more of these or were I could buy them? Thanks

If it is only the on off switch, and you have bought some connectors, I would solder to the connector and not use a spade connector at all.

If not, and you are in a hurry, you can directly solder the cables to the on off switch, and when you do find the spade connectors or any other connector you can directly solder that one on.

Another thought, if you have some junk electronics lying about, you can scavenge the insides of those, they often have the necessary spade connectors inside.

Or your car :)

Any home improvement store will have them in the electrical aisle. At least in the US, there's a pretty standard color scheme to match the right wire gauge to your connector. The power supply wires are 18AWG, so go with the red spades.
