Hello,
I have a small part part that I need to print, as you can see in the pictures.
The problem if that the part is not flat and when I try to print it it need support - that is OK but after that the support stick to part and wont seperate.
If i will remove the support the part face wont be sharp.
How can I print such a part with good results?
thanks
small part with support - how to?
Re: small part with support - how to?
I would print it as 2 pars. Make the round bit a bit like a stubby key and put a slot in the big cookie shaped part. And then chemically weld it with acetone.
When on mobile I am brief and may be perceived as an arsl.

If you want to print it with support, I'd use KissSlicer, and possibly elevate the entire part to give the support space. Support in kiss has several parts, the base, the rough section and the interface layer, you need enough space for all of them really.
Even then if your printing in PLA it can be a pig to remove the support. simplify 3D has easier to remove support, but the finish directly above the support isn't the best.
