What?! I can't hear you!
What?! I can't hear you!
Hey there. It's me again...
So I wanted a way to mount my headphones on the side of my desk without drilling holes. I didn't like any of the hooks I found on the file share websites so I designed my own.
As always, this was printed in PLA with my ORION.
BOOM!

I made a spot on the back that fits a small Command strip perfectly, and just deep enough to make the hook mount flush with whatever surface it's attached to...

And here it is mounted to the little nook in my desk with headphones hanging on them... ( I apologize for the poor lighting. It's a dark spot in my room in that little corner of my desk)

Thanks for stopping by!
P.S. I've added the .stl file to this post to be available to print if wanted...

Very cool. The "Command Adhesive" is a great touch.
Would you mind sharing the STL? (I have those same headphones, that always sit on a shelf while I'm not using them...)

Haha. I made something similar a few weeks ago for my workplace.

Downloaded and printed. The first, I repeat, first actually useful thing I've printed (since the dust separator cyclone has been taking a while).
Thanks,
Dan
Thanks,

Re: What?! I can't hear you!
wait, you didn't leave the the little tag exposed on the command strip? How are you going to remove it? You need to be able to pull down on the tag to release the adhesive.
Re: What?! I can't hear you!
The inner command strip doesn't need to be removed. If you want to remove the hook all you have to do is peel the hook off, leaving the outer half of the commend strip on the wall, pull the adhesive tab off the wall, and attach a new half command strip to the hook half to attach it to the wall again.
The piece in the hook never get removed, the piece on the wall stays in place when you're done using the hook for ash removal!

Re: What?! I can't hear you!
I think it is an interlocking hook and loop plastic connector. Aka velcro.
*not actually a robot
Re: What?! I can't hear you!
I needed a means to keep the sign up. So i made these. And while making them i thought adding a hook would be nice. Then i designed it to hang my earphones.
And as usual one ends up piling all kinds of crap there.
