Multiple filament options???

Good morning... Just down here waiting for a quick print to finish, thought id ask.
Is the rostock able to work well with bronze filament, the wood stuff etc? i dont see why not, just wanted to know before i place an order

You cannot exceed hotend temperatures of approximately 245C with a stock Hotend. Even that would make me nervous and I never exceed
240C. The problem with the stock hotend is that the center is made of a plastic called PEEK that will soften and destroy itself at higher.
You can buy the PEEK piece at Seemecnc.
If the filament requires temps that is hotter than those discussed above, then you cannot use it on a stock hotend.
You will need an all metal hotend such as the popular E3D V6 that can handle virtually any filaments temperature requirements.

Carl, you simply can't forget to mention the possibility that they should hold out for Generic Default's Tri Hotend! I'll just leave a link to the thread below. He's been making some great progress!

Spot on! I forgot to mention Generic Default's Tri Hotend, that can be considered instead of the E3D.
