Question about 12v wires
For the rambo connector, I took the four twisted yellow and black wires from the same p/s connector. Do I need to worry about where the two remaining y&b wires come from? Or can I grab any yellow or black wire?

Re: Question about 12v wires
Crack the power supply case, and you'll find that all wires of a given color come from the same place. So, yes: they're all interchangeable. Choose the ones that are long enough for your needs.

Re: Question about 12v wires
That's not always the case, usually there are multiple "rails" for 12v which each have their own circuitry so that they can each supply a lower current than a single huge rail. I would personally pick a yellow and black pair from several different connectors for the 7 required wires for that reason alone.dtgriscom wrote:Crack the power supply case, and you'll find that all wires of a given color come from the same place. Re: Question about 12v wires
As above, depends on the PSU.
If it's the stock kit then it only has 1 12v rail, so in this instance it doesn't matter which you take it from.
I think I'll be upgrading my PSU for this exact reason, I'm getting a huge amount of noise on the 12v line, and judging from other posts on here, it seems to be a little underpowered, which is never a good thing.
