No power

Hello,

We've recently finished building my Rockstock Max 2. We powered it up, but other than the power supply fan spinning there's no sign off life! We've checked all three fuses and they're seemingly OK. Using a multi-meter we can see that power is coming through from the power supply.

We're not sure what to try next. Can anyone help?

If you haven't uploaded the firmware yet, you're NOT going to see any "life" out of the machine.

Thanks for the replies. There are no lights coming on on the RAMBO board at all.

I haven't uploaded any firmware yet, is that necessary in order to even see something on the LCD display, or lights on the board?

If there are no lights, and you are absolutely positive that everything is connected properly, then I would contact SeeMeCNC support, or Ultimachine, I'm not sure which of the two covers the Rambo board.

Before contacting support, when you turn on the power do you get 2 rows of blocks on the LCD display?
If you see no blocks on the LCD then contact SeeMeCNC about the Rambo card.

If you do see the two rows of blocks on the LCD panel then proceed with uploading the firmware which is covered in the manual.

It's the PSU provided, and there are no blocks on the LCD. I'm pretty certain that everything is connected OK. Sounds like support is the next step?

Yep, support is your next step. The chat function on their main page is probably the fastest way to contact SeeMeCNC. They are on Central Time.
