First off, today is the first official day that I got to print something since I started my build over thanksgiving. Thanks to everyone!!
I have printed a few things today for calibration, and everything's turned out great!! I'm really having 0 issues! But I've noticed that when I manually adjust the Z height in Repetier-Host, it is not nearly as responsive as the X & Y.
That being said, it hits all the macros, and the home position totally fine and at normal speed, but if I adjust the Z height only, it WILL go, but at an insanely slow speed. The fact that my prints have been great, and the other manual controls work fine, my guess is it's a software issue that I've overlooked??
As always, much appreciated!

I had the same behavior when i tried to use RH. I'd like to know what it's about as well.

Its in the printer settings. The XY jog speed is set for 4800 while Z is set to around 200 for standard screw driven Z axes.

Re: Repetier-Host - Manual Control Issue
Awesome, good to know. Will have to check this out when I get home today. So you think changing the Z jog speed to 4800 would be ok? Thanks!!Nylocke wrote:Its in the printer settings. The XY jog speed is set for 4800 while Z is set to around 200 for standard screw driven Z axes.

Yeah, I have mine set to 6000 or so. It's in mm/min
Re: Repetier-Host - Manual Control Issue
I have an issue with Repetier-Host where the manual Z axis control will go up closer to the end stops, but will not go down. It will print ok, but the manual -z control doesn't work right...
