Rostock hotend wire disconnects.

Post by daftscience »

So, I spent a lot of time looking into way to make the hotend a little bit more modular. I found these.

They are the same molex connectors used for the motors, but with the male version as well. I bought a few of them. My fans, LED power, and thermister are each connected to one. I also added them to where my extruder motor goes into the big wire harness that goes into the base of the rostock.

For the hotend resistors I have two big plug style connectors, one for (+) and one for (-).

That's a great idea! I can even use my locking D-Sub design I posted on Thingiverse 8-)
