What is the bed size for Rostock Max 2

Post by beilmandesign »

Since mattercontrol updated to 1.2.1 file I create in Solidworks are not coming in to scale. I noticed the bed size is 150 x 150 with a build height of 350 (& circular bed). What do you gents using mattercontrol have as a bed size?

The part is approx 7.875" x 4.5" (200 x 114.3)- it should fit on a max right?

Don't use 11", as this will cause the skates to crash into the top plate and your print to end up a pile of string. Most people agree that 260 to 270 mm diameter is a suitable number that should provide clearance for the skates. To get the maximum build volume, you can try printing circles of varying diameters until you notice the skates getting too close to the top plate.
