So i have a couple of these laying around, and i love this design. http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php?p=45675#p45675
Thats the STL i used.. it works great.. except that in going to the edge of the build plate, it gets in the way and snaps off at the base.
Curious if anyone else has a nice setup for a 40mm peek fan?
I already have 3 layer fans in all three spots (guanus new one, LOVE IT). so i cant use that mounting hole.
Or do you really need a peek fan that badly? I must admit, since that one broke, i havent replaced it, and its been a while haha.
bad on me i know.
thoughts?

Re: 40mm peek fan
unfortunately it printed great, but when mounted the black bar (where the arms attach to the white pegs) isnt able to rise above it where it needs to go.. so i either have to cut it or something..

Re: 40mm peek fan
When my peek fan was going out, I just ordered a couple more, with ball bearings, to replace it. Going with the original size fan saved the hassles of trying to make something else fit.

Re: 40mm peek fan
With the super reliability of these fans, I just ordered a spare and we haven't even assembled the RMax yet.
Also figure we'll skip the Diablotek supply altogether and use one of the industrial regulated supplies. I have a 12V, 30A one for another project I'll "borrow".

If at first you don't succeed, you're doing something wrong. Try again, and if it fails again, try once more. Through trial and error, one can be the first to accomplish something great.
