Hello all,
I recently finished by Rostock Max V2 build. When I upload the firmware provided by the manual (Repetier 0.91) and turn the printer on, it proceeds to go to the home position, bounce off the end stops and lower slightly. The LCD then reads "RESETTING/E-STOP" at which point it starts to home again and repeat the same process over and over again. When I remove the LCD screen completely (including the RAMBo adapter), the printer exhibits the exact same behaviour. Here is a Gcode readout from the error without the LCD screen connected:

Does anyone have any advice?
Thanks!

Re: New Rostock Max V2 Restart Loop
The time it happened to me, the reset button was stuck,,, specifically the plastic cover for the lcd readout. what they cut out wasn't enough, and if you pushed the reset it would stick. I had to trim the gap a little wider.

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, this error occurs even without the LCD connected to the board.Mac The Knife wrote:The time it happened to me, the reset button was stuck,,, specifically the plastic cover for the lcd readout. what they cut out wasn't enough, and if you pushed the reset it would stick. Ultimately after further testing of the RAMBo board provided in the kit, I found it to be faulty. I ended up pulling a board from my Taz 4 and using it in place of the one that was provided by seemecnc (both RAMBo). This restored normal functionality and allowed me to print.

I bet there's a solder bridge on that board somewhere...
