This is not an endorsement, just passing on the offer.
I purchased 3 rolls of 1.75 1k PLA from their eBay site and received this offer in the package. Haven't even tried it yet, it could very well come out like cotton candy or clown diarrhea.

20% off purchase till 2/25/15. code: GETPRINTING
With free shipping that makes it 19.19 for a 1kg spool. It looks like they sell electronics and other crap that appears to work with the 20% off as-well.

Re: 20% off and free shipping till Feb 25th
I've used a bunch of their filament. Seems to work just fine. Maybe a little on the small side of 1.75, but at least consistent. The site price with the 20% discount is on par with their 3+ spool price on ebay.
One issue I have with their product is the actual spool and how the filament is wound upon it. The cutouts in the side of the spool make it more vulnerable to shipping damage since they didn't use any padding in the shipping cartons. Seem to get one spool broken in each carton of three. Also, where the filament winding was started creates a bump on the inside of the spool. The inside diameter of the center hole on the sides is same as the spool body, so the bump impedes spool turning on a stock Rostock Max V2 top spool mounting arm, or any arm that has an edge really. I use a printed sleeve that fits over the arm which allows these spools to rotate more freely. It's just a peeve.

Awesome, thank you for the heads up on the spool issue. I'm running the half shaft that covers just the top of the spool holder, as the edges were shaving off the plastic on my other spools.
I'd say I wasn't impressed with the packaging but it did have cardboard spacers between each spool. No other padding besides that.

Do you guys typically get PLA or ABS from these folks?
They have the same sticker on there as MatterHackers, who I've bought from before. That PLA was decent, but I won't touch their ABS again with a 10-foot pole. So, just curious if your guys' seemingly-good review was for their PLA only. (Ok apparently it was just Earthbound's good review, whatever)

I bought some of this filament on Ebay, from a seller with the name "supertobuy". The first order from them was good, so I ordewred some mor. The second order, the spools were different, combination of cardboard tube and plastic flanges, and the filament was,,,,, not nice. Along with the second order was a flyer from WYZWORKS. So I don't plan on buying from them.

I have only gotten their PLA. Purchased from ebay seller "diyinks". Plastic spools with WYZWORKS label on one side (not the green Q label shown above) and white tag on opposite side (exactly as pictured above on center spool). Prints very well but found it likes hot end to be 210-220 for best results.BenTheRighteous wrote:Do you guys typically get PLA or ABS from these folks?

I will agree with the quality and the nozzle temps. The white sticker on the spool gives a suggested temp range of that color and so far my tests match the suggested value range. They show 200-220 for orange for example and I print it at 220 with no problem. On a side note, I print SeeMeCNC's Platinum silver PLA at 220 as-well.
I only purchased solid color PLA so that could be why my 3 spools were the same type. You can get translucent/glow in the dark etc so those could have different types of spool.
