Enclosure unusual shaped SMD circuit board

Post by Tinker12 »

Enclosure for a 2-layer SMD circuit board, printed on an ORION with clear T-glase
3d model made with Creo Element Express 6.0, MatterControl used to slice/G-code and control print.

Have to say even though I am more an electronics guy, I really enjoyed using creo elements to make the 3d model
it was very intuitive to use.

I used clear t-glase because there are two status LEDs on the circuit board, Red and Green that need to be visible.
They shine well thru the T-glase housing.

For labels with lights shining through, we found white polyester laser printer labels. They're weather resistant (have had one on our bird run gate for about 5 years with no signs of falling off), thin, easy to print, and light shines through them.
