Printed in a beautiful translucent pastel pink and clear PLA. What is particularly remarkable about this reel is "what you see is what I printed". There was no trimming, no sanding, no fitting. The parts snapped right together (with a little super glue to keep them there) and that was it. It's a little hard to see but there is a heart "inlayed" in the spool retainer (the pink round part in the middle on the side with the handle).

Not sure how helpful it will be but here is a photo of the machine printing a green reel frame.

The CheapSkates days are numbered. I have all the parts here for the TrickTruck upgrade from TrickLaser. Just need a little time to replace them and calibrate.

Thank you mhackney... I thought you have enclosed your machine in something ;) ...The picture is very help to us..give us confidence that with patience and consistent efforts we can achieve such a great quality print :) ....
