Braun Blender damaged coupling replaced with 3D printed one

Post by Khalid Khattak »

A couple of year back my wife threw away Braun Hand Blender(chopper/beater/mixer) owing to its broken coupler...So its time to repair by installing 3D printed coupler... Got the dimensions made the 3D model and 3D printed a new one today. The socket is 3.5 x 3.5mm... and it was a perfect fit-up in Braun... But before put it into real use we have to clean it thoroughly ...

I don't know if the other blender parts can take it, but we tested PLA and found it's not bothered by a sanitizing bleach soak. Check your bottle of laundry bleach, depending on the strength it will be something like a teaspoon of bleach in a quart of water.

Or in metric, one dibble in a frabble of water. :)

Khalid Khattak, very ingenious to create the part.
May it hold up as long as a new one.
