Has anyone come up with some kind of sensor that can detect if the print has come loose off the base, and therefore stops the print before you waste a pile of filament?
Obviously you could only set it up/switch it on after its begun printing - perhaps 5mm off the bed. I am thinking of a laser tape measure type system pointing at the base of your print (electronics is my hobby)
Just an idea
Movement detector
Re: Movement detector
I would guess that image processing may be a better route for this.
From what i have observed, the print still dangles on the bed.

When on mobile I am brief and may be perceived as an arsl.
