So has anybody finished this up? I'd love it in any format.

Not done quite yet. Holidays ate into into my time pretty badly this year. Still working when I get the time.

Finally got to updating this some more. Got the cheapskates mostly done, all I need is the regular spacers, can't seem to find those in the Orion or MAX source CAD files. Still have to add the EZStruder, Arms, Effector/hotend, and a few other smaller detail things.

Also, I got a repo set up for it.https://bitbucket.org/nyl0cke/rostockmaxv2cad

As of now only the inventor files are in there (except maybe a few imported parts). When I have some more time I'll get some STEP files or whatever added in addition.

Can I talk you into making this available in .stl format? That way, it will work in ALL CAD packages that can export an STL, rather than requiring there to be an importer for your CAD package's specific format.

Sure, just let me know what you need it in and I'll try my best to make it available.

STL files are universal, so I would just do that.

If you want to be able to assemble the files using constraints or to edit the parts, I'd save them as IGES (igs) files.

Thank you for your efforts. I used a couple of the pieces.

One quick question, i want to stuff and arduino uno and banana pro inside the case by means of creating a mounting point on the side panel. I would like to place this on the left side (segment between the X and Z tower). What would be the size of the cavity there? I.e. what is the dimension of the triangular shape formed by the power supply, side wall, stepper motor.
When on mobile I am brief and may be perceived as an arsl.

I don't suppose you could save this in SolidWorks 2013 format could you?

Soildworks 2013 would be the best for me. But I prefer Parasolid or STEP files for a generic file format.

Thanks for all the work Mike.
