ABS results seem to show better quality with height?

ABS results seem to show better quality with height?

Im used to using PLA so these are my first attempts using ABS. the few pritns ive done seem to increase quality the higher the layers go up?

E3D hotend on a rostock v2, temps are 230/80.

Im going to try reducing or increasing nozzle temps. decent idea? :)
