Hotend not responding

Post by jram »

Hello All, What would be the first thing to check/repair if the hot end is not responding to inputs? Bed seems to be working fine if controlled by the LCD. As I type , the hot end has gone from 16.1 to 19.8 in 25 minutes. This is with an input of 160 on the LCD. Any help is appreciated.I tried a PID autotune but that wouldn't run.

Check what the PID drive max is set to, as well as the max PWM. PID max should be something like 230 and PWM max should be somewhere around 255.

Also check the small fuses found on the rambo.
