Radio Shack going out of business sales!
I just bought, at 50% off, $375 worth of Arduinos, electronic components, and other misc. tools at a local "The Shack" that is going out of business. I do believe that all "The Shacks" are going to be closing over the next few weeks to months, so keep an eye out for deals! Even with the markups, I got a great deal on the stuff I purchased, like a PROPER multimeter that does voltage AND current AND other stuff!

What kind of discount say on a typical Arduino Uno?
This might help others who have stores around them: http://radioshackcorporation.com/pdfs/R ... 020415.pdf

LUCKY!
Our Radio shack never had any electronic components worth a damn, let alone Arduino boards...and they just shut the doors, no sale, no nothing.
good luck to those that do, hope you get some great deals!

I got a Mega 2560 for $30 and an Uno "starter kit" for $25. I got a really nice multimeter for $45 and a bunch of micro test leads for $10.KAS wrote:What kind of discount say on a typical Arduino Uno?

The stores in my town are already gone.
Re: Radio Shack going out of business sales!
If you can find them still, I really like their inexpensive sub-D crimpers. They crimp the little pins for the Max better than my more expensive ratcheting crimpers. They were under $10 before the sale so they would be a steal now.

I bought a pair of those. I never crimp those tiny crimps without them. Turn out perfect every time.
