Orion Delta Lighted Bed Mod

Post by Mandrake Imaging »

I found these light strip holders on Thingaverse
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:239812

Then got 3 of these flashlights and took the strips out of them and wired the 3 lights in series powering from an accessory port inside the orion.

Thanks for your first post and welcome to the forum.
The lights look good you just have to make sure that no fans or the cheapskates can hit the lights.
Happy Printing!

Nice!

Question, does the Orion use a Layer fan similar to the Max V2? If so, is there a chance that the layer fan can collide with one of the LED towers?

The only time anything gets in the way is if im trying to print something larger than my bed. all other clearance tests have green lights.
