Recently I've been printing with a spool of White ABS from Makergeeks. It's been printing very well except that every once and a while, it deposits one of these crystal like structures on the print - looks almost like caramelized sugar crystals. Anyone know what this might be? Is it due to impurities in the filament? I've not had this with any other filament that I've used.

What's your tip look like? Mine is covered in pyrolized crud from ABS and Nylon. Occasionally when I print natural Nylon I'll see stuff like this in the print, I assume it's just residue that got knocked of the nozzle or fell from the heater block.

My print nozzle is pretty clean on the outside. That's the first place I looked.

Usually you'll get a little build up on the outside of the nozzle and it'll land on the print from time to time
