I just thought of something when tweaking the calibration of my rostock: Why do we need to adjust the endstops? Why not just change the maximum height and then keep measuring until it's "flat" from the center to the 3 edges. Once the endstops are parallel to the bed, i think it might be counter-productive to keep tweaking them.
Anyone know why it's written the way it is?

This link is the way most/some? are doing it now. Maybe I'm not tracking what you're asking this early in the morning.

Re: Horizontal radius calibration
Great question.
I had a process down that took me 5-10 minutes to get my towers adjusted. It required a dial indicator and a final tweak of the horizontal radius. I could get things within .001" from center to all 3 towers.
What got me fed up with it all is that I had to do this often...about every 3 weeks. It would be off as much as .01" or more between towers. Why do you suppose that happened? I never figured it out. I just knew what I had to do to correct it temporarily.

I blame humidity fluctuations.

Oh. I was referring to the geneb instruction manual. The flow chart in particular.
