Custom building and scaling.

Post by lehthanis »

As I mentioned in another thread I'm thinking about building my own rostock based printer but id like to scale it up. Especially in the diameter department. What kind of things do I need to consider when scaling the design up? Where would I get a larger heated bed that's round? Anything else I should consider before scaling up?

Tjere is a site that lets you calculate the arm lengths etc and the precision you will obtain.

There are a few big printers on this site. Contacting the creators would be a good start.
When on mobile I am brief and may be perceived as an arsl.
