Can someone in Raleigh, NC print me out of a jam?

Post by BenTheRighteous »

I'm installing trick trucks and carbon fiber arms this weekend and everything has been going well until now - I have two of the three trucks on the machine, but one of my belt clamps BROKE!!! D:

I thought I was being smart by remembering to print them BEFORE taking the machine apart, but it turns out I was actually being an idiot for not printing extras... :P

So can someone in the Raleigh area with a working printer help me out *today* with another set of 3 (just to be safe)? There's beer money in it for you... :)

Thanks in advance!

One of your clamps broke, so why can't you use it how it is now? You have 2 of the 3, just calibrate it enough to print 3 or 4 of those in the center of the bed and finish the job?

I'm lazy and I don't want to disassemble the machine after I put it back together, that's why! :D

You're right, I *could* do that. Or I could save myself some time and effort and put a few bucks into the hands of another community member. I don't see anything wrong with the second option. ;)

Oh wait, you mean do the print with 2 trick trucks and 1 stock cheapskate? Yeah I dunno, that would be weird. I'll think about it. My offer still stands until further notice. :)

I'm thinking that even with the broken piece that it would still have enough clamping pressure to hold the belt in place.
