Hi, I'm wondering what would happen if I ordered a kit and received skewed parts as mentioned. Could I have them sent back for replacement? What would that cost me to do so?

I honestly doubt he got "skewed" parts. Laser cutters just don't do what he's talking about unless they're WILDLY out of focus.

However, if you ever get a bad part from SeeMeCNC, they're VERY responsive in replacing bad parts.

I agree Gene. I was thinking about posting a survey on the quality of the laser cut parts. Other than the OP - who is obviously trolling - I have not heard a single report nor has anyone posted photographs of the issue. And there are LOTS of us out here with well cut parts!

yep, I wonder why nobody else has skewed parts, probably because he was making it up to justify all the sanding he had to do, which it states in the manual that sanding certain areas is required or becuase of this sanding nobody really notices?

I'm gonna try to do a thorough build report of my own. This forum could use more build logs.

I asked them to replace the wooden plate underneath the Onyx because I damaged it during assembly. They did it with no problem. They have been very good about providing phone support too.

Support is always excellent. I do think the Rostock Max is still somewhat of a work in progress though and all the changes/improvements in such a short time can seem overwhelming to someone without experience.

As far as assembly time, it will have taken me well over 20 hours, but I am assembling by myself and I think my OCD contributes to the time spent assembling.
