LCD panel issues

Post by dylantep »

I finally got around to plugging in my LCD screen on my rostock max v1 this weekend and am having some major problems. I made sure the cables are plugged into the correct spots but when I turn my machine on the LCD does not light up at all and my machine starts homing about every 5 seconds. The log in repetier says it keeps resetting the machine. I am using the shorter cables and have triple checked they are plugged in correctly. any thoughts?

Pictures would help. I'm not familiar with any connection differences on a v1, but the most common problem other than swapped cables is plugging them in backwards. Color stripe on cable belongs on pin1 end of header.

Interesting. It sounds like mine may be backwards, however due to the shape of the connector they only plug into the LCD one way. I will attach a picture.

How about a shot of the other end of those cables, too.
