Ninjaflex

Post by bauf »

So i bought some ninjaflex to play with, but i'm having a reeeeaally hard time getting just the bottom layer done. I have the E3dV6, the "fly-n-strude", and the mod. on the eztruder ( http://forum.seemecnc.com/viewtopic.php ... =ninjaflex )
But it just won't work. First lines comes out ok, but then it slowly gets less and less material out and then it just stops coming out.. i'm printing @ 20mm/s, 225°c,55°c. Have tried all the way up to 240°c also, but it's the same all the time, after slowly gets less material out. I thought maybe it got to hot and was about to jam,but pulled it out easily and it was cold and no lump at the end or anything like that.
Any ideas?

From what I've heard, you can never print TOO slow with ninjaflex. Try even lowering to 10 mm/s. It's what I print my normal first layer at for maximum adhesion.
If at first you don't succeed, you're doing something wrong. Try again, and if it fails again, try once more. Through trial and error, one can be the first to accomplish something great.
