Support Material

Post by 3D-Print »

I have changed my support material setting and I really like the simplicity of these parameters. The default support settings, has for me, been hard and near impossible to remove from cavities and recessed areas. When I have made the support thinner/lighter it often falls apart and the print fails. This has now been consistently for the past 5-6 prints awesome. My layer height is 0.2 mm, HatchBox ABS, 228 degrees and 95 degrees.

Maybe others are using something like this but I thought I would share what I've changed and hope others can also adjust to make it even better.
