Rostock Max stops during print "Cannot connect to printer"

Any ideas or similar experiences to share?

The problem I am seeing is that the printer stops mid-print. If I try the same file it stops at various stages and never in the same place. Mattercontrol says it has stopped working and if I restart it cannot connect to the printer. A restart is required to clear my com port 7.

This is happening on every build & every file I try. I have over 200 hours previously with no issues.
Reboots, & re-installation of the Rambo drivers have had no effect.

Did you try the sd card?

That way you can know if it is the computer or the rambo.

Yes, Sorry I should have provided that information in my original message. Using the SD card exhibits the same mid-print freeze-up problem.

I removed the acrylic panel on the side of the enclosure and aimed a small fan directly at the rambo board - problem solved.
