Pushing LCD knob has no effect

Hi all.

I'm a relatively new member here. I just completed my build, and I am now on the calibration stage.

I just calibrated the thermister on my hot end, and I'm trying to move to the next stage. In the instruction manual on page 235, it says to heat up the hot end and the bed and then push the knob in on the lcd screen to get to the main menu. Unfortunately, when I do this nothing happens. The knob goes in and clicks, but it has no effect. If I turn the knob in either direction I see the main screen or the print statistics. I can't navigate to anywhere else.

Any ideas what could be causing this action to fail? I'm fine up until that point.

Problem solved.

I took the lcd controller off to blow out the connections after reading about a similar problem on the forums. At that point I realized the adapter that connects the Rambo to the lcd wasn't completely seated.

I guess I was in a bit of a rush.
