I actually haven't got started on my kit yet. I'm still waiting for my rostock to be freed from customs! But I have done some reading up on
this damper upgrade which sounds great and much easier to install while assembling the kit. I understand that the dampers bolt directly
onto the stepper motors so 3 dampers in total would be required? But once the dampers are mounted would this not push the gear
on the motor shaft OUT of alignment with the idle bearings/pulleys?? Or am I missing something fundamental? I have been going through the
manual again and I can't see how this alignment problem can be avoided without some re-configuration. Does the gear on the shaft moved
further up the motor shaft to compensate for the dampers width? I am sure there is an easy answer to this
