That is one nice printer for the smaller prints, takes up little space and looks cool.

If I know HobbyKing the way I think I know HobbyKing, this is actually a $250 printer by the time you pay for shipping and a wait 4-6 weeks

I like the metal extruder, looks like the PrintRBot design.
E3D knockoff.
It's tiny, the entire machine has a 6" square footprint and is less than 9" high.
80mm build area, so that's about 3-1/4".

I'm sure they'll sell a lot, but it's not my next machine.



(Has anybody else had bad luck with the cheap RAMPS boards lately? One of my friends ordered a RAMPS/Arduino pair that each had cold solder joints and would have never worked without being repaired first.)

You're right about shipping. Bought a bunch of turnigy silicon wire and it took for ever.

I doubt they would stock these on the US warehouses. I'm sure the shipping is part of the profit design.
