Top Section Base Plate Upside Down?

Hi guys, first time posting here. I've been setting up my kit for the last week and so far I'm enjoying doing so. I have got to installing the top plate, but I've run into a bit of an issue. In accordance to the manual on pages 94 and 104 I assembled the top plate and tower supports as shown.

But the problem is, when you skip ahead a few pages ahead it shows the bed to be flipped upside down, Have I done something wrong here? At the start of this stage the manual says to refer to the first Solidworks image if you need a reference, which I have been doing. Do I need to flip my base plate too or can I carry on as normal. Looking through some past posts I have noticed people had the same error and it simply meant feed the extruder differently, is that still the same in this case?

That is a confusing section of the manual I agree. I have my build completed and I have the extruder between the Z and Y axis. The filament hole is on the Y side of the extruder mounts. This is correct as far as I know... Mine works anyway! hehe

Dave, you have it correct. Yes, it's confusing and I apologize. The whole point behind the graphic on Page 94 was to make abundantly clear how it was supposed to go.

"You'll want to orient the top section base plate as you see above. This will help ensure that you don't accidentally build yours backwards. Note that there are a few figures in this guide that may show a reversed orientation. When in doubt, use the reference as shown above!"

If the way I've done it is correct, how do I tie down the second set of wires going from the X axis to the Z axis?

I'd like an answer to this too, as I've just painstakingly rotated mine 60 degrees from what Dave had, and it seems to have helped very little. Hey Dave, we're at the same place here! Good luck!
Maybe we're supposed to route the endstop wires going to the Z axis through the Y axis? In other words, it will go through all 4 tiedown points?
