That was unbelievable Teoman, imagine what tools would be used to carve a speck of dust or print at that size.
Bet it wasn't done on a Makerbutt.

From what I read, it uses a long wavelength laser, and a microscope, to cause double photon absorption, in order to reduce the cure area to a tiny footprint, even when compared to a UV laser. Impressive stuff, that is.

I would love to see the equipment that they use, it would have to something to see.

A decade ago I had the equipment and knowledge to do this but I did not get the idea.

I have kind of shifted from microsystems where i used piezo stages that had a couple of nanometers resolution to industrial robotics and now to mobile application (sensor heavy) development with the occasional mechatronic project on the side.


It was one of those moments where i said "dang, i wish i had thought of that!"
